New In Town…Consignment Rules
Thanks to Amy Bellchambers for our feature in The Brighton Source, September 2012, Issue 48
We are sure there will be many customers interested in showing us beautiful purchases ready to be loved elsewhere…
At the Green Brick shop we operate by specific guidelines for selecting goods for trade, called the Consignment Rules.
Firstly we recommend that all customers enquire with us via email: greenbrickbuytrade@gmail.com. By contacting us we can tell you the sort of items we are interested in buying, their potential re-sale value and our commission.
We will then invite you to drop up to 5 items to us at a mutually convenient time (please note: we are open Tuesday – Saturday 10-6pm but on event days the shop may be closed).
All the items you would wish to show us must be selective by the following standards:
- In Season (currently appropriate styles of garment for Autumn Winter 2012)
- On Trend (according to our current collection)
- In Excellent Condition (No rips, stains, holes, broken fastenings, missing buttons, odours)
The trade via consignment means that any items taken into the shop have 30 day period in which to sell.
After the period we will review any unsold items and pay the customer their cut for items sold. Please note: Green Brick does not buy ‘job lots’, multiples or stock from liquidation. Green Brick does not offer trade cash in advance nor can we guarantee items will be sold in the 30 days period.
Please email if you have any further questions or would like a copy of the full term and conditions for Consignment,
Best Wishes, Jane & Vanessa
